Thank you for empowering our work!

warmth & safety at home

A donation of $100 can help keep a single mother in stable warm housing during the cold Maine winter.

Donating empowers TOA to assist thousands of individuals and families with securing and/or maintaining stable housing through our Homelessness Prevention Programs.

Your support helps TOA keep vulnerable Maine families safe during the long frigid winter months. Vital resources provided through our Home Energy Assistance Program helped over 4,000 households stay warm last year.

connection to vital resources

A donation of $50 provides Mainers in need with access to critical services. Whether it’s fare for a bus, or a gas or phone card, our clients can stay connected to TOA’s programs providing crisis stabilization, and vital behavioral and mental health services.

With your generous donations, individuals in need of transportation can access critical programs such as WIC (Woman, Infants & Children), our substance use outpatient clinic, adult and children’s behavioral health homes, the Project for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness (PATH) program, or The Maine Crisis Line.

Your contribution empowers our clients to access and maintain appointments with their primary healthcare providers and healthcare services, vital for a successful life.

protection for the cold winter months

A gift of $25 helps TOA provide hundreds of children with warm winter clothing such as coats, boots, hats and mittens. These free resources ease the financial burden on vulnerable families during the most challenging season of the year.

Your financial support allows TOA to provide families in need with the right clothing to be comfortable walking to school, playing with friends at recess, and exploring their neighborhood snowbanks! We believe staying warm in winter is a basic need – and that active outdoor play is an essential part of health and well-being.
