In 2011, PROP (People’s Regional Opportunity Program) and Youth Alternatives Ingraham unified their missions to form The Opportunity Alliance (TOA). While TOA is the Community Action Agency for Cumberland County, through its 46 integrated community based and clinical programs, it serves more than 20,000 people annually throughout Maine. For nearly 50 years, it has provided advocacy, leadership, and support to help individuals, families, and communities identify goals and address their needs. The Opportunity Alliance’s programming includes: Early Childhood Education; Family and Community Supports; Children and Youth Mental Health Services; Adult Mental Health Services; Crisis Intervention and Prevention; and Community Initiatives.
