Mike Tarpinian, President and CEO, Retires in 2019

At its Annual Meeting, The Opportunity Alliance’s Board of Directors announced that President and CEO, Mike Tarpinian will be retiring next year.

Dan Hunter, Board Chair, notes that the Board of Directors is thankful for his many years of dedicated service to the agency and for his leadership role in the community.

Mike has headed the agency and its predecessor organizations for three decades. In that time, hundreds of thousands of individuals have been supported in their quest to build better lives. Mike will continue to lead TOA with the same passion and commitment throughout the transition year. The Board of Directors will be conducting a comprehensive search process that will provide the time to seek out the best candidate to help ensure a smooth and successful transition at the agency prior to Mike’s retirement.

The Board looks forward to planning a community celebration honoring Mike’s outstanding work of advocacy, leadership, and support to individuals, families, and communities seeking positive change.
