Point in Time Count: Survey of Homeless in Cumberland County

On January 23rd, staff and volunteers conducted the Point in Time Count, which identifies the number of sheltered and unsheltered homeless individuals.
On January 23rd, staff and volunteers from The Opportunity Alliance and our partner agencies, such as Oxford Street shelter, Preble Street, Shalom House, and the VA conducted the annual Point in Time Count. The 2018 Point in Time homeless count identifed the number of both sheltered and unsheltered homeless individuals across the state. While this is a statewide count, The Opportunity Alliance and our partners lead the effort for Cumberland County. Click here for the Bangor Daily News story.
