The Opportunity Alliance Newest Playground Opens

The playground is made possible through donations from the Ronald McDonald House Charities, Norway Savings Bank, and other private donors

PORTLAND (January 2015) Our newest playground at our Deering Place Head Start location will officially open on Tuesday, June 16th during June’s Parkside Neighborhood Connection Night. The badly needed playground, was made possible through generous donations from the Ronald McDonald House Charities foundation of Maine, Norway Savings Bank, and other private donors. The playground ribbon cutting and festivities will begin at 5:30 in the parking lot next to TOA’s location at 510 Cumberland Avenue and is open to all residents of the Parkside neighborhood.
