Holiday Gift Drive Benefits Hundreds of Families

This year, the season will be a little brighter for more than 300 families, most with children and teens, who wouldn’t otherwise have gifts during the holidays.

PORTLAND (December  2014) —  Every year at this time, The Opportunity Alliance reaches out to the community for help with our annual Holiday Gift Drive. This year, the season will be a little brighter for more than 300 families, most with children and teens, who wouldn’t otherwise have gifts during the holidays.  We ask individuals and local businesses to sponsor children or individuals in need. If someone wants to participate by doing the shopping, we’ll provide a detailed wish list. We can also accept financial contributions that will be used to fill the needs of our clients.

Contact Kelsea Dunham at 523-5063 or kelsea.dunham@opportunityalliance.org  for a wish list or other giving options.

Donation Details

  • The deadline is Friday, December 12 in order to give us time to distribute gifts before the holidays. We can accommodate later delivery if need be, but need to be notified in advance.
  • Gifts should be delivered to our Family Center at 50 Lydia Lane in South Portland weekdays between 9-5. Pick-up can also be arranged, with advance scheduling.
