Access and Intake

is the first point of contact to our agency, providing immediate service to community members, staff and providers via phone, email and face-to-face walk-in visits.

(207) 523-5049

Client services include empathic listening, assessing the need, reviewing potential internal programs to address the need, and referring the individuals/providers to those accessible appropriate internal and external services.

Access and Intake works closely with TOA's program staff, SAMHS, and other community providers. They act as an internal consultant to agency staff on community providers, resources and services for children, adolescents, adults, families and communities that are available to the agency clients.

Access and Intake is responsible for the referrals to the agency's continuum of services. This knowledge includes financial eligibility, clinical eligibility criteria, program admission criteria, referral and intake processes.
