Early Childhood Education

IT’S NEVER TOO EARLY TO GET READY FOR SCHOOL

To nuture safe and trusting relationships so that all members of our community know they matter and believe in their potential to impact their world.

OUR WHY:

How does Head Start support you and your child?

WE BELIEVE:

  •  A child’s success in school starts even before they are born.

  • We believe the connection between a child and their family helps build the foundation for learning throughout their life.

  • Parents are the first and most important teachers and supporters for their kids.

 OUR APPROACH:

  • We work with families to help children grow in all areas—socially, emotionally, mentally, and physically.

  • We offer different Early Care and Education programs to support all kinds of families. We do this at home and in classrooms to help prepare kids for kindergarten.

  • All our programs follow the Head Start Performance Standards to make sure children and families in Cumberland County get the best services possible.
