An Important Message from TOA's President & CEO

As we find ourselves in the middle of another wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, we understand this is a difficult time for everyone, especially individuals and families seeking housing and heating assistance, community resources, and support.

At The Opportunity Alliance, we want to continue to be the beacon of hope we have been for our community, but unfortunately, we are not immune to the impacts of the pandemic or a national staffing crisis. As the need in our community continues to grow, we are doing our absolute best to manage the requests coming into TOA.

Since the beginning of the pandemic our dedicated and talented staff have gone above and beyond, working around the clock to provide the best clinical care to our clients and our community. I am incredibly proud of everyone at TOA.

As we persist in our efforts to provide services to thousands of Mainers each year, we are all managing COVID in our own lives- often caring for family members, helping children who are learning remotely, or quarantining because of illness or exposure. I am genuinely sorry for any delays or long waiting periods you may have faced while trying to receive services from The Opportunity Alliance. We ask for your patience as we navigate this pandemic, together.

Wishing you all the best,

Joe Everett
